CITYSCAPE

Project: Cityscape. For the first project on the course, I spent most of this time trying to explore a range of new materials such as ink and charcoal. This included experimenting with mark marking skills which is shown in this example; I designed this cityscape scenery to link to the theme, however I rendered each building using different mark making techniques such as stippling, hatching, lines, dots and dashes and scribbles.  The materials used to produce this piece include charcoal, graphite, biro. (43cm x 30cm)
