ABSTRACT CITYSCAPE

Project: Cityscape. In the experimental stage of my cityscape project, I completed many studies of architecture using a variety of materials such as charcoal, pencil and paper structures. This study was created using drawing ink and a ruler to mark out an abstract style of a skyline; the use of the ruler was very effective in that it enabled me to smudge the ink into block like shapes which resembled buildings.  (43cm x 30cm)
