TYPOGRAPHY

Project: Memorial. This was an initial idea piece that studied the art of typography; this was created on a sewing machine to embroider each word. For the project themed ‘Memorial’ I produced work that was based on the book ‘In Cold Blood’ by Truman Capote; a true story about a murder trial in Kansas in 1959. Therefore I used quotes from the book to incorporate into my work as shown in this example where I sewed these words on top of the family of victims. (19.5cm x 29cm)
